The installer is designed to automatically install SMD components on a printed circuit board during the production of electronic components. The installer works autonomously, assuming manual installation and removal of the print assembly to / from the installer. This installer is the best option for pilot, small-scale and multi-nomenclature productions, as it provides quick change-over from one product to another, and also demonstrates high speed, which can be further increased by installing additional options that automate the process.

The “intelligence” of the feeders implies the following: an electronic control board with a microcontroller and an EEPROM (electrically programmable memory device) is mounted inside the feeder. The value of the element installed in the feeder is recorded in this storage device. In this way, components can be stored already charged into the feeders and installed in any place on the machine. This saves a lot of time preparing the machine for work, especially with a large range of products. Given the significant capacity of seats for feeders, it becomes possible to keep two or more units of products installed in the machine at the same time, making the transition between them “instantly” or with minimal settings. Traditional feeders are “linked” to their place of installation, and during this change you have to adjust the installation program or perform a permutation of the feeders in accordance with the program. Intelligent feeders allow you to install components in any place, thereby saving time and reducing the likelihood of error. It is important to remember that filling the tape is one of the most time-consuming operations when working with the installer. An intelligent feeder minimizes this operation.
