Frame pneumatic tensioning of stencil

The pneumatic frame for the stencil manufactured by ZENCHA PSKOV provides uniform and reliable fixation of metal stencils.

The base is made of high quality aluminum alloy. The frame has an external size (584x584mm) and a thickness of 25mm, and the external size can also be increased using an additional adapter at the request of the customer, which allows you to use this frame with all types of screen printers.

The frame uses a pneumatic tension mechanism - the perforated edges of the stencil are placed on the “combs” around the perimeter of the product and when compressed air frames are supplied to the fitting, the “combs” simultaneously and evenly rotate, ensuring the stencil is tensioned on 4 sides. After that, the pneumatic supply can be turned off, since this system is equipped with a check valve. It holds pressure for tension inside the pneumatic circuit, which allows the product to be used in printers that do not have a pneumatic outlet for connecting the frame. Removal and replacement of the stencil is carried out by opening the check valve and depressurizing the pneumatic circuit of the frame.

The advantage of this method of tension is to ensure the best uniform tension of the stencil on 4 sides. A good tension of the stencil in the plane allows it to be applied uniformly, without distortion, to the printed circuit board, which ensures uniform distribution of solder paste over all apertures and the absence of displacement of the pattern of stencil apertures relative to the contact areas of the printed circuit board.

To ensure a smoother supply of pressure, a pressure regulator and a pedal for supplying air to the frame are included in the package.

Mounting the stencil on the frame is performed in several steps and takes a minimum amount of time (1-2 min). The process of mounting the stencil on the frame is shown in detail in the video.
