ZENCHA-Pskov and mass media PLN

ZENCHA-Pskov JSC is an enterprise with a rich, half-century history. The plant opened in the 1960s and was one of the first city-forming enterprises in the city of Pskov.

Over time, the question arose of the need to invest in the further development of the enterprise. The strategic investment decision in 2016 was the beginning of a complete modernization and renovation of the ZENCHA-Pskov JSC factory, with the aim of supporting and developing the production of Russian goods and entering the foreign market. The geographical location of the Pskov region opened up great prospects: this is the export potential and the convenience of cooperation with the central regions.

In the new 2020, the ZENCHA-Pskov JSC plant is at the stage of active technical and functional re-equipment. Over 3 years, more than 400 million rubles were invested, while about 60% of the planned improvements were realized. Modernization affected, first of all, the material and technical base: the existing machine park was updated by 80%, production capacities were expanded. As part of the renovation program, 5 major production buildings were overhauled, and the loading and unloading site was improved.

Thanks to the changes, it was possible to increase production volumes to 520,000 units / year, as well as to master new types of products. Along with the existing production of small household appliances (Pskov electric stove, Teplon Air electric heater, etc.), the ZENCHA-Pskov JSC factory began ordering production of low-voltage and high-voltage equipment (0.4-35 kV). In 2018, the production of elevator components was launched (as part of the import substitution program).

The new investment project in 2019 was the launch of the production of modern, high-tech equipment for surface mounting of printed circuit boards (SMT equipment). The volume of investments in the project amounted to 10 million rubles, a production site of 1000 m2 was equipped, more than 20 additional jobs are being opened.

The modernization of the ZENCHA-Pskov JSC factory has not yet been completed. At the moment, a plan has been signed for further development and investment for a period of 5 years, which includes expanding production facilities, scaling up production, creating up to 50 additional jobs, as well as increasing the economic efficiency of the entire enterprise.
